Mike and Adam continue to perform Classic Clapton unplugged with two excellent unplugged shows in 2025. More unplugged concerts are planned for 2026 including Scotland.

The Classic Clapton band came together at Glasshouse Gateshead for a special one off concert on 5 December 2025 to celebrate their 40th Anniversary.

It was a very special occasion. The sold out crowd at the Glasshouse Gateshead gave the band a fantastic reception!

This was the sixth time Classic Clapton had played at this wonderful venue. Hundreds of fans travelled from across the UK for this special occasion.

The Classic Clapton band performed a "Farewell" Concert at Sage Gateshead (aka The Glasshouse) on 2 December 2023. However, they will come together at the same venue on 5 December 2025 for a special one off concert to celebrate their 40th Anniversary.

The final Scottish concert by the full Classic Clapton band was at Howden Park Centre, Livingston on 29 July 2023. However, Mike will continue to perform Classic Clapton unplugged shows with his acoustic guitar.

Following a break of 20 months because of the pandemic After Midnight performed a very special sold out concert at Alnwick Playhouse on Friday 12 November 2021. Our next two shows at Milton Keynes Stables and Barnsley Lamproom Theatre also sold out.

The capacity crowd at Alnwick Playhouse gave the band a fantastic reception. They especially enjoyed the unplugged set.

A Charity Gig was held at Durham Gala Theatre on 21 February 2017. It featured two great bands - The Fix & After Midnight. Over Three Thousand Pounds was raised for St Cuthbert's Hospice.

The Classic Clapton unplugged concerts in November 2016 were a great success. More unplugged shows are planned for 2018.

On 10 November 2017 Mike and Dave performed an acoustic gig at The Launch Party for The BBC Look North Weather Calendar which was televised.

After Midnight's 35th Anniversary Tour 2020/2021. The tour was delayed for 19 months by the pandemic, but was finally completed in Autumn 2021. |

We played 3 shows in India. The final concert on 17 January was in front of 3500 people at Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana, Mumbai. This is a large open air sports arena. It was one of the best gigs of our 30 year career.

There was a huge video screen on the stage behind us. It was another amazing experience in the history of After Midnight.

This photo was taken at Marine Theatre Lyme Regis on 11 September 2015. You would never guess that we had just spent 8 hours driving from Southend!

Mike went to see Sting perform in Cordoba, Spain on 12 July 2015. It turned out that Sting was staying at the same hotel as Mike. Sting and his excellent band gave an amazing performance to a huge crowd in Cordoba's bull ring. The next morning Sting kindly agreed to have his photo taken with Mike. What a gentleman!

Mike and Dave took time off from the UK Tour to perform a Classic Clapton Unplugged gig in Groesbeek Holland on 27 December 2014. It was a great success. They will also be performing another acoustic gig of non Clapton material in Tynemouth England in July or August 2016. |

Very sad to hear the news of Jack Bruce passing. The greatest bass player who ever lived. We dedicated all our Cream covers to him at our gigs in October/November 2014. Mike was honoured to meet Jack backstage at Tynemouth Park Hotel in 1987. Jack cheered up a bit after giving a brilliant show. RIP Jack Bruce |

to everyone who came along to our 25th Anniversary Concert at Newcastle City
Hall on 11th December 2010. 800 people from all over the UK made the hazardous
journey to Newcastle so they could sample a piece of "real Geordie
culture". A tremendous time was had by all.
